Gift Code Redemption Methods & Limits
Gift codes provide in-game currencies and leveling materials such as Stellar Jade, Credits, Traveler's Guide, and Refined Aether. Promotional codes can be redeemed through two official methods provided by COGNOSPHERE:
1. Web Redemption: Log in with an active account at https://hsr.hoyoverse.com/gift, select the target server and character nickname, enter the redemption code, and confirm.
2. In-Game Redemption: Open the in-game Phone menu, select the '...' icon located next to the character name, choose Redemption Code, enter the promotional string, and confirm.
As of October 2026, the GachaPortal database tracks 0 working gift codes and 16 expired codes. Rewards are delivered directly to the in-game mailbox upon successful redemption.

Character Event Warp Rates & Pity Rules
The Character Event Warp banner follows standardized probability rates and pity thresholds published by COGNOSPHERE and documented in official rate disclosures.
The base drop rate for a 5-star character is 0.600%. If a player does not receive a 5-star character within 89 warps, hard pity activates on the 90th warp, guaranteeing a 5-star drop. Soft pity begins around warp 74, where individual 5-star pull odds increase with each successive warp.
When a 5-star character is obtained, there is a 50% probability that it is the featured promotional character. If the obtained 5-star is not the featured promotional character, the next 5-star character obtained on a Character Event Warp banner is guaranteed to be the featured promotional character (180 warps maximum).
Pity counters and guarantee status carry over between successive Character Event Warp banners. Players can calculate pull probability distributions for target warp counts using the Honkai: Star Rail Summon Calculator at /honkai-star-rail/summon-calculator/.
