Recruitment Rates and the Spark Pity System
The standard banner configuration in Blue Archive is the Pick-Up Recruitment. The recruitment pool offers students across three base rarities: 3-star (3★), 2-star (2★), and 1-star (1★).
The base recruitment rate for a 3-star student is 3.000%. When a banner features a rate-up student, that featured student holds a 0.700% individual appearance rate, representing 23.33% of the total 3-star probability.
Blue Archive utilizes a spark system for recruitment guarantees rather than an escalating soft pity. Every single recruitment pull grants 1 Recruitment Point. Reaching 200 Recruitment Points (200 pulls, equivalent to 24,000 Pyroxene) allows players to exchange points directly for the featured pick-up student.
Recruitment Points do not carry over between banner rotations. Unused points convert automatically into Keystone pieces at the end of the recruitment period.
